Today, The Troubadour’s Road is honored to feature the work of talented singer/songwriter, Jensen McRae, with her song, “Immune,” which she released yesterday. The story behind the song is incredible, with Jensen writing, “A couple weeks ago I had this idea about the idea of the vaccination anthem…”
The Troubadour’s Road is honored to present our Top 25 Songs of 2020. The year has been a wreck, for so many people, on so many levels, especially those in the music industry. It is so hard to even try to comprehend this entire year without shows. It is such a staple of so many lives and the life blood of so many artists. It is our hope that this list will help you find some new artists, cherish those you know and be a way to continue to support them (links are provided on each song to their music and merch).
Today, The Troubadour’s Road is proud to feature Trevor Hall (feat. Emory Hall), with their song, “the old story,” off his latest album, In And Through The Body. The album was released on September 20, 2020, produced by Brad Cook (Bon Iver, Hiss Golden Messenger), with additional instrumentation from Phil Cook (Megafaun) and Matthew McCaughan (Bon Iver), as well as vocal accompaniment from Emory Hall.
As I write this, the decision was made to keep the 2020-2021 adjusted athletic CHSAA schedule that was voted on August 4th. I support this decision.
Today, The Troubadour’s Road is proud to feature Colorado’s own, Daniel Rodriguez, and the title track of his album, “Sojourn of a Burning Sun,” which came out August, 28, 2020, through Renew Records.
Today, The Troubadour’s Road is proud to feature The Dead Tongues and the song, “Deep Water, Strange Wind,” from the 2020 album, Transmigration Blues. This, by far, is the best album of 2020, so it was difficult to pick just one song.
